An important event for sailing enthusiasts will be held in the port of Marina di Cassano, in Piano di Sorrento, Friday 1 to Sunday, April 3, 2011. For the first time, it will take place in the Gulf of Naples, a gathering of yachts Dufour Yachts. The event was organized by Cataboat, dealer field known shipyard based in La Rochelle (France), sponsored by the City of Piano di Sorrento and in close collaboration con la Sezione di Sorrento della Lega Navale Italiana, lo Yacht Club Marina di Cassano e l’associazione Oceanomare Delphis Onlus che conduce ricerche sui cetacei nel Mar Tirreno.
L’azienda partenopea Cataboat vanta una lunga esperienza specifica nel settore della vendita e del noleggio di imbarcazioni. Un saldo e costruttivo rapporto lega da tempo Cataboat al cantiere Dufour Yachts che produce imbarcazioni a vela da quasi mezzo secolo e che ha ricevuto pochi mesi fa l’ennesimo riconoscimento internazionale; il Dufour 405 Grand Large è stato infatti eletto “Barca europea dell’anno 2010″. Nell’ambito del I° Raduno a Piano di Sorrento, è tra l’altro prevista la partecipazione Dufour Yachts President, Salvatore Serio, and designer of various models Dufour, Umberto Ferns, which illustrate yachtsmen innovative design choices, production and sales of construction, a world leader in sailing.
Participants at the rally will have the opportunity to follow a course in first aid at sea and to attend a conference on the identification of cetaceans of our sea, by Delphis Oceanomare Onlus. In the port of Marina di Cassano will be moored sailboat vintage Jean Gab, aboard which involved researchers from Delphis Oceanomare Onlus. This is a beautiful cutter launched in Marseille in 1930, designed by André Mauric, designer of fast boats America's Cup in the '30s. A coastal race and a visit by sea of \u200b\u200bSorrento Peninsula, are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday evening there will be a dinner with typical local menu, followed by a musical performance with a repertoire of old Neapolitan songs. The First Meeting Dufour Yachts will conclude Sunday, April 3, at 13.
